Day 1 of 7 Days Safari in Uganda: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Right after breakfast on this first day of your 7 Days Uganda safari, you will set off for Murchison Falls National Park in northwestern Uganda.
You will have your lunch en route in Masindi District before proceeding to hike to the top of the falls to witness the power of the explosive Murchison Falls.
After this adventurous hike, you will proceed to your safari lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 2 of 7 Days Uganda Tour: Game Viewing and Boat Cruise
Early morning, after coffee on this second day of your 7 Days Uganda safari, you will head for a morning game drive where you will see animals like giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and more.
This drive will last for 3 or 4 hours before you return to your lodge for breakfast, relaxation, and lunch as you await your afternoon boat ride.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a boat ride on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls.
This ride offers a perfect chance to see animals along the river banks as they hydrate. You will also observe aquatic mammals like crocodiles, hippopotamuses, and several species of birds.
Upon reaching the bottom of the falls, you will spend between 45 minutes to 1 hour marveling at one of the most explosive waterfalls in the world.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
This day of your 7 Days Uganda safari begins with a transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – the biggest home of chimpanzees in Uganda.
You will wake up very early and start the drive, passing through Fort Portal town. Lunch will be served in Fort Portal before you continue your journey to Kibale Forest National Park.
Upon arrival, you will immediately embark on a swamp walk at Bigodi Wetlands – one of the best birding places in Uganda.
A walk here will give you rare views of birds like the shoebill stork, along with other species.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to QENP
Rise early for breakfast on this day of your 7 Days Uganda safari and then proceed to the park headquarters before entering the forests to track chimpanzees.
Chimpanzee trekking is an awesome experience. Some chimps may approach you out of curiosity, while others display interesting behaviors.
The experience can last up to five hours, including a full hour encounter with these chimps.
After trekking with the chimps, your guide will immediately transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park – the most popular safari park in Uganda.
Enjoy a scenic evening game drive as you make your way to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Game Viewing and Boat Ride
Wake up early in the morning and embark on an exciting game viewing drive along the Kasenyi trails, one of the best areas for game viewing in Uganda.
This will be one of the highlights of your 7 Days Uganda safari. Here, you will see animals like kobs, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and many more wildlife species.
The drive can last from 2 to 4 hours. Return to the lodge afterward for breakfast, lunch, and then head for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.
A cruise along the Kazinga Channel offers another opportunity to see a variety of wildlife that gather along the riverbanks to drink.
Several bird species also flock around the channel. You will also have sightings of crocodiles, hippopotamuses, and other mammals in the water.
After this activity, you will immediately transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Your Uganda gorilla trekking experience can last up to 8 hours, depending on how long it takes to locate the gorillas, including a full hour encounter with these gentle primates.
