Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Have an early breakfast at about 7:00 a.m. and drive to the park offices where briefing, assignment of a park guide, and cross-checking of gorilla permits take place.
The briefing covers various rules and regulations for trekking, such as not mimicking the gorillas, not feeding animals in the forest, and not eating in front of the gorillas, among others.
Afterwards, head into the forest with the guide to begin the search.
At the end of the day, you will have a great adventure spending one hour in the presence of these primates, watching them play, feed, breastfeed, groom their young ones, among other behaviors.
Later, return to the lodge for leisure time, evening relaxation, and dinner.
