Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, depart from Kampala and drive to southwestern Uganda through Mbarara Town.

Make brief stops at the Equator for photography and coffee, and another at Agip Motel in Mbarara for lunch.

After lunch, drive straight to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Kazinga Channel trails.

Enjoy an evening game drive along the channel towards your safari lodge.

This trail runs adjacent to the Kazinga Channel and leads to the Katunguru Gate of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Popular animal sightings here include Bushbucks, Warthogs, and Elephants.

If time permits, drive north towards Baboon Cliff to admire the scenery and the Ruwenzori Mountains.

To ensure timely arrival at your lodge, continue driving while observing wildlife.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Rise early and head north to the Kasenyi sector for a morning game drive.

Common sightings include Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions (three of the Big Five game animals), and other wildlife species like cats and Kobs.

Return to your lodge for breakfast and relax before your afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.

In the afternoon, enjoy a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel where you’ll see numerous animals such as Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants, and various bird species.

The shores of this river attract many animals for water, providing ample viewing opportunities.

Day 3: Visit the Crater and Transfer to Kampala

Have an early morning breakfast and drive to explore the explosion crater and the Katwe salt works, two of the most beautiful features in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Afterward, proceed with your drive back to Kampala. If flying, you may also have a chance to see the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha Sector.

Lunch will be served at Igongo Cultural Center before your final drive to Kampala for drop-off or departure.

End of 3 Days Queen Elizabeth Tour.

Extension: Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park are located nearby, offering a perfect opportunity to add a mountain gorilla trekking experience to your package.
