Day 1 of 10 Days Best of Uganda Safari: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After your morning breakfast on the first day of your 10-day Best of Uganda Safari, our tour guide will pick you up and drive towards Masindi—a town steeped in history. You will have lunch at Masindi Hotel, the first and oldest hotel in Uganda, which once hosted Ernest Hemingway, Katherine Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, and other famous historical figures. After lunch, proceed towards Murchison Falls to hike to the top and witness the spectacular view of the waterfall. Later, head to your lodge.
Day 2 of 10 Days Uganda Safari: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Ride
On the second day of your 10-day Best of Uganda Safari, start with an early morning coffee and a game drive around the park. Spot Rothschild Giraffes, Elephants, Buffaloes, Oribi, Warthogs, Kobs, Leopards, and other wildlife species. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation till afternoon.
After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls. This ride offers sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, birds, and more. It complements the previous day’s experience of seeing the top of the falls.
Day 3 of 10 Days Safari in Uganda: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
On the third day of this 10-day Best of Uganda Safari, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park after an early breakfast. Drive through Fort Portal, known for its stunning scenery. Have lunch en route in Fort Portal and continue to enjoy views of the Ruwenzori Mountains. Check in to your lodge and explore the Bigodi Wetlands with a swamp walk, ideal for bird watching and primate sightings.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Head to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking and encounter other primates like colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. After this exciting activity, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy an evening game drive en route to your lodge.
Day 5: Wildlife Viewing & Transfer to Bwindi
Today, enjoy a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Trails, known for its high concentration of wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Spot kobs, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and more. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
In the afternoon, take a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel to observe wildlife and birds at the water banks. Later, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha, known for its tree-climbing lions.
Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Walk
Experience one of Uganda’s most remarkable activities—gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Encounter these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, sharing over 98% of our DNA.
After the trek, visit the Batwa pygmies for a glimpse into their traditional lifestyle and medicinal practices.
Day 7: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Today, relax at Lake Bunyonyi, known for its stunning scenery and historical Purnishment Island. Enjoy a boat ride and learn about the local community.
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Head to Lake Mburo National Park for a wildlife safari experience. Have lunch at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara District and proceed to Lake Mburo for an afternoon boat ride, spotting hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and birds.
Day 9: Whole Day at Lake Mburo National Park
Embark on an early morning bush walk and an afternoon horseback riding safari accompanied by armed game rangers. Explore the park’s wildlife with safety assured by the rangers.
Day 10: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kampala
Conclude your 10-day Uganda safari with a morning game drive and a visit to the crocodile farm en route to Kampala. Transfer to Entebbe for your return flight.
