Uganda has a warm, tropical climate with good weather all year round. The country experiences two rainy seasons, from March to May and from September to November. The average yearly temperature in Uganda ranges from 25°C (77°F) in the northeast to 17°C (63°F) in the southwest.

The warmest months are from December to February, with temperatures reaching up to 28°C (82°F) in Kampala, the capital city. Most places in Uganda have comfortable temperatures during this time, except for the highlands, which can get very cold at night. The dry seasons also provide the best opportunities to see wildlife, as animals gather around water sources, making them easier to spot.
