If you prefer to avoid the 9-hour road drive to Bwindi by opting for a flight, this 3-day flying gorilla trekking safari package is perfect for you. Scheduled and chartered flights are available and will save you 7 hours of travel time.

On the first day, you will be met by a tour guide and representative from our Uganda tours and travel company. Please see the day-by-day plan below.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi by Flight
Today, you will transfer to Kihihi Airstrip by flight and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by road. The travel time is less than 2 hours.
Upon arrival at Kihihi, you will have an evening experience with the Batwa Community before heading to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Today is the day you’ll encounter mountain gorillas in the forests of Bwindi. Early in the morning, you will proceed to your briefing point before entering the forests accompanied by armed game rangers.
Please note that gorilla trekking can last up to 8 hours, but on a lucky day, it may only take 2 hours, depending on how quickly the gorillas are located.
Once you find the gorillas, you will have 1 hour to observe and bond with them. Capture photographs and cherish the memories of this wild encounter.
After this magical hour, return to your gorilla lodge, enjoy a late lunch, relax, and take an evening nature walk around Bwindi.
Day 3: Transfer to Kampala and Departure
This is the final day of your Uganda safari tour. Catch your return flight to Kampala, which takes approximately 2 hours.
Upon arrival in Entebbe, visit places like the Botanical Garden and Uganda Wildlife Education Center before heading to the airport for your flight back home.
