2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari Overview
This 2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari features an exceptional wildlife experience. Lake Mburo is less visited compared to the other parks but does offer very enjoyable wildlife moments. It is one of those surprise virgin wildernesses that you should visit at all costs.
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Our safari guide will pick you up at your accommodation facility in Kampala and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park by road. You will drive through the towns of Mpigi, Masaka, Lyantonde till Mbarara where you will branch off from driving towards the park. You will have a brief stopover at the Drum Makers’ Village to have a sight of some local works of Ugandans before climaxing your drive to the park for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will head for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where you will see animals like crocodiles, hippopotamuses, fish eagles, topis plus several other species of wildlife.
Overnight at Mihingo Lodge for luxury stay, Rwakobo Rock Hotel for mid-range or Eagles Nest Camp for budget stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Departure
You will have light breakfast in the morning and head for a game viewing drive after. This is a chance for you to see some nocturnal species of animals and they go back to their respective hideouts. You will see Zebras, Elands, Warthogs, Impalas, Topis and more species of wildlife.
This game viewing drive should last for about 3 hours. You will return to the lodge after for a full breakfast meal, freshen up and have another game viewing drive as you are exiting the park. On hitting the main road, you will have your lunch from Igongo Cultural Center, make a stopover at the equator for a magical experience, coffee and photography before climaxing your journey to Kampala to catch up with your departure flight.
