Day by Day Itinerary
Below is the exact day to day schedule of this 2 days Rwanda gorilla safari package. Please look through it and request any changes at the time of inquiry so that we adjust accordingly.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our guide will pick you up at Kigali International Airport or any accommodation place of your choice and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park in the northern province of Rwanda. The drive is approximately 2 hours or less depending on how fast your guide drives.
When you arrive, you will enjoy a cultural experience at Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village. This is a perfect spot to learn about Rwanda’s culture right from the values, way of life, traditional dances and more. Refrain from this experience and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Departure
Wake up early morning and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing meeting and then head to search for your respective mountain gorilla family in the jungle. When you locate the gorillas, you have an hour with them before you return to the park headquarters to receive your respective gorilla tracking certificates.
Immediately after receiving your certificates, your tour guide will transfer you to Rwanda’s capital of Kigali, drive straight to the airport to catch up with your departure flight or get dropped off at any accommodation facility of your choice.
